Campaign for Dresden Frankfurt Dance Company (Season 2025/26)
Pieces by Ioannis Mandafounis (choreographer and artistic director of DFDC) are improvised. All campaign images refer to his methods that inspire and fuel improv movements, such as “connecting limbs” (above), “frontality” (the eyes) or “dance with an invisible friend” (last one).
The photos used for the assemblages were taken by De-Da Productions, Stephan Floss, Dominik Mentzos, and myself.

Landscapes (2025)
Free project about wanderlust and a longing for distant places. The series is inspired by the deliberate use of emptiness in Japanese landscape drawings. It explores the possibilities of using photography not to display everything one-to-one, but to create images in the viewer’s mind.

Campaign for the Master of Arts in Theatre at Zurich University of the Arts (2023)
Students are required to dedicate part of their studies to an artistic or scientific research question of their own choosing. I had some ideas for such questions.

Visual language for “everyone energy” (2022-24)
everyone energy is a start-up that helps you calculate and realize solar systems, heat pumps, and battery storage.

School Theater Festival Saxony (2019-25) promotional images and films
Every festival comes with a theme, e.g. “Be Wild and Wonderful”, “Theater and Space” or “Overflowing with Words” that I refer to in the images.

Posters for the Master Comparative Dramaturgy and Performance Research at Goethe-University in Frankfurt (2018 and 2023)
The above is a mind map of the craziness of a dramaturgs’ everyday life (with tasks like handling sensitivities, ensuring coherence, confusing the director or starting over).
The below shows the five acts of “the great drought” (1. Exposition, 2. Rising Action, 3. Climax, 4. Falling Action, 5. Catastrophy/Denouement).

Free project around the fight against gentrification in Kreuzberg
My studio is part of “Lause”, an old industrial building in Kreuzberg that - after a long fight - could be saved from being sold by an investor. The images startet as a free project around that fight and later were used by the cooperative that took over taking care of the building.
